About Lee Keller

Founder and CEO of The Keller Group, Lee has more than 30 years of communications, political and public relations experience in government, the private sector, and the nonprofit world. She currently advises clients in a number of areas including CEO Brand management, media relations, strategic communications, community outreach, public affairs and crisis communications. Lee has had a distinguished career in both Washingtons. She began as a radio reporter in Seattle. Later she served as press secretary to U.S. Senator Dan Evans on Capitol Hill and directed communications for the National Wildlife Federation, also in Washington, DC. In Washington state, she managed communications and public affairs at the Weyerhaeuser Co. She left Weyerhaeuser to run Communications for Referendum 48, the Campaign to build a new Football and Soccer Stadium in Seattle, now known as Lumen Field. She then served as Director of External Affairs for Paul Allen\'s parent company, Vulcan, Inc. Before launching her own firm, she served as the Managing Director of APCO WorldWide – Seattle, a large public affairs firm, headquartered in Washington, D.C. Her alma mater is the University of Washington, where she majored in broadcast journalism and political science. She serves on the boards of a number of philanthropic organizations in the Puget Sound area including the Puget Sound Leadership Board of Medical Teams International, Seattle Aquarium and The Seattle Children\'s Museum. Current and recent clients include The City of Seattle, Vulcan, Overlake Medical Center, Weyerhaeuser, Turner Construction, The Initiative for Global Development, Intentional Software Corporation, Charles Simonyi, Medical Teams International, Medic One Foundation, Museum of Flight, CenturyLink, Sclater Architects and Medina Foundation.
