ABOUT LEE FLAHERTY

I have 10 years of experience in the design, execution, and reporting of laboratory research in the Biotechnology industry. The kind of research I performed was primarily proof-of-concept (PoC) or mechanism of action (MoA) studies, utilizing cell & molecular biology techniques. The subjects of this research spanned a range of therapeutic modalities (small molecules; ADCs; cell therapies) and indications (leukemias; solid tumors; rare genetic diseases; acute & chronic injuries). As I came to do more study design & 3rd party research coordination, I became increasingly interested in the business side of my industry. I completed a part-time MBA through Babson College\'s F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, with great interest in Finance, in the hope that I might use these new skills to better drive value in the Biotechnology industry.Through all this time, I have coached evening/weekend fencing classes as a side passion.
