ABOUT LEE CROUCH

I have a wide-range of experience across Claims Technical and Operational Leadership roles in both Defendant and Claimant work with a focus on collaborative working practices and an outcome driven focus. My current role is Head of Claims for Marshmallow Repair Limited (MRL) as well as being responsible for subrogated recoveries across Marshmallow entities. As Head of Claims I am responsible for successful delivery of the non-fault customer journeys from end-to-end working with our in-house team, wider claims teams and key strategic partners to ensure delivery great customer outcomes whilst securing the full and prompt recovery of income for Marshmallow. Previously at Allianz I was Technical Claims Lead for Transformation is focused on ensuring our Transformation Programme delivers a Claims System that will truly allow for transformational change in our technical and operational delivery across claims for years to come by staying close to the day-to-day operations whilst influencing our Claims Systems build. A key part of my role was also acting as decision-maker for anything Technical Claims related within Transformation. Prior to this I was Technical Claims Manager for motor bodily injury claims up to £100K and responsible for the claim strategy and indemnity spend for claims in excess of £125 million. Effective management of this portfolio saw open claims stock reduce by over 20% from a trend that was increasing. I have experience of successfully introducing and using automation across processes and using data to drive better success rates to help support operational delivery. I also have extensive experience across Major Loss, Recoveries, International, Casualty and Fraud due to the variety of roles I have undertaken in my insurance career to date.
