WORK HISTORY
Business Owner & Managing Director @Orange Fox Studios
Leicester, GB
At Orange Fox, the word ‘boring’ has been banished. We encourage our clients to remove it from their vocabulary. We challenge our business partners to think differently as we believe the secret to good video storytelling is authenticity. The best marketing adverts don’t sell you a product or a service, they make you feel something. Laughter. Tears. Excitement. As video storytellers, it’s our job to help customers understand a company’s values through useful, original or unique video content. Video should always have a purpose and bring value to your customer, whether through laughter, practical advice or creative insights. Customers look to you for education, entertainment and excitement, and your ultimate goal is engagement. Orange Fox has a grown into fluid, full service visual communications agency based in Leicester’s cultural quarter. Our strong network of creative talent that includes cinematographers, animators, video editors and design experts means we can tailor-make the team that suits your brief.

ABOUT LEE WHEELER-TOMES
I have been helping large companies, creative agencies, SME businesses, charities and not-for-profit organisations share their stories through film and video production for a decade. I have built up a strong network of creative talent includes cinematographers, animators, video editors and design experts meaning my business can tailor-make the team that suits your specific project and your budget. I hold a Master of the Arts in Filmmaking having specialised in Cinematography at Goldsmiths College, University of London. What makes me a good storyteller.because I do it in my spare time! I love the craft, the creativity, the process and sense of pride that comes with conceptualising an idea, a script and turning it into a memorable story. I am part of Leicestershire-based filmmaking collective Bang Average Films, who’s goal is simple. GET STUFF MADE. Our 2018 film \"Martin Sharpe is Sorry\" won Best Micro Short at the prestigious Birmingham International Film Festival. I also have several credits as a Cinematographer or Director on short films which have run on the film festival circuit. I am also a keen advocate for the creative industries, particularly here in Leicester. I am currently an events organiser and facilitator for Creative Coffee Leicester. We\'re a free meet-up for creative people and those looking to meet creatives. We offer creative industry professionals, both old and new, the chance to build their contacts, exchange ideas and discuss work opportunities in a relaxed, professional environment.
