As a contracts manager I oversee projects from the start through to completion, ensuring that work is completed on time and within its budget. As a contracts manager I work on a wide variety of projects,I\'m usually in charge of large contracts or may look after several smaller ones. I am the first point of contact for members of the public, clients, site managers and sub-contractors for as long as the contract lasts.Health and safety issues being my top priority in this role, as is managing client expectations.I am responsible for writing the RAMS for each individual contract I negotiate sub-contract orders and monitor sub-contractors, planning critical dates, or organising labour. I am also responsible for agreeing extra work to be done on a contract, helping to resolve any disputes which come up, and to identify areas for improvement within my company’s contracting processes.
