I currently work at the University of Salford through a subsidiary called Unitemps. My role as the Branch Recruitment Manager is to lead a team of recruitment executives to fill vacancies within the university and with organisations in Greater Manchester. I work with a diverse range of stakeholders including Vice Chancellors, Deans of the schools, School Business Managers and individual hiring managers at the university. I also engage with key decision makers within organisations and business in the local community including multinational brands and SME’s. In my first full year I have managed to grow turnover by 34%. The team have also successfully improved annual customer satisfaction scores across all eight areas that are surveyed. My branch achieved runner up for the Unitemps Branch of the year award and runner up for Unitemps compliance branch of the year at this years unitemps annual award ceremony. I am a strategic thinker and I enjoy evaluating and implementing new ideas and process. My team would describe be as a collaborative leader, who cares about his people. I can adapt my management style to meet most situations and as a quick thinker I like to see successful outcomes born from solution-based ideas. Currently I sit on the Salford Professional Development executive team and report in the CEO of the organisation.

Hi, I’m Lee! Nice to meet you Here\'s a brief overview about what I do: I joined Unitemps based at the University of Salford in February 2023 as the Recruitment Branch Manager. Prior to this I have worked in recruitment for majority of my career at Randstad. My passion is helping others achieve and on a daily basis my team help find students and graduates from the university roles not just here locally on campus, but with organisation\'s based in Greater Manchester. I often present to various areas of the University, if you would like a guest speaker on anything to do with recruitment or careers feel free get in touch. I have been working in recruitment for many years and started my career back in 2005. Over the years I have been lucky to work in many different industries which has helped me become the person I am today. I\'m a massive foodie and love cooking. With much practice I have managed to perfect my chicken tikka masala dish. I am a big Derby Count fan and have been since I was old enough to stand on a milk crate in the old baseball ground.
