Partner with the Associate Director of Catering to support the Director of Catering and Conference Services in overseeing daily departmental operations and long-term strategy• Ensure consistency and excellence in the execution of Event Services department standards, workflows, and service delivery• Drive revenue generation by maximizing upsell opportunities and identifying areas for enhanced profitability across events and programs• Review all group and catering contracts for compliance, operational feasibility, and alignment with property standards• Manage full-cycle execution of group programs from contracting through post-event billing, ensuring a seamless client experience and accurate financial reconciliation• Oversee the preparation and timely distribution of weekly group resumes and internal communications to ensure alignment across departments• Independently manage a portfolio of 7–10 programs per month, including high-touch corporate groups, social events, and internal activations• Support the servicing of Catering events during peak periods or as needed, ensuring continuity and excellence across all program types• Contribute to the onboarding, mentoring, and training of new team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and development• Collaborate with leadership and Sales to develop strategies for exceeding banquet revenue goals through proactive upselling and creative enhancements• Perform in-depth reviews of financial documentation including Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), guest room pickup and attrition, pro forma and final invoices, and post-event reports for accuracy and optimization
