I am an AI Product Leader and Data Scientist passionate about two things: using AI to solve complex healthcare challenges and empowering the people who build it.My career has been a journey from the rigors of academia to the front lines of Safety AI, driven by one goal: leveraging data to get medicine to patients faster. I thrive in the \"messy middle\"—the space where complex, real-world data meets high-stakes industry problems. The Journey: From PhD to 0-1 Product LeadershipMy foundation is rooted in the rigors of academia. I earned my PhD in Computer Science (ML focus) in Albania and served as a University Lecturer before moving to Toronto to scale my impact in the private sector.Over the last 6 years at Veeva Systems, I have specialized in bridging the gap between raw data and life sciences innovation:0-to-1 Product Build: Led the efforts to build Veeva’s first Signal Detection product from the ground up—an experience that defined my passion for transforming unstructured clinical text into actionable safety insights.Clinical NLP Expertise: Deep experience in Information Extraction from EHRs and clinical documentation to support automated systems at the point of care.🤖 Current Mission: Agentic AI @ VeevaReturning from maternity leave after welcoming my third child—a baby boy who started walking at 11 months—I am energized to join the Agentic AI team within the Vault Platform.
