About Kevin Leblanc
I’m a Mechanical Engineer and Product Developer with 7.5 years of experience taking complex ideas from concept to production — across robotics, food-processing equipment, and advanced manufacturing systems-Most recently, I served as Head of Engineering at Wilevco, leading product development, R&D, and standardization efforts across custom food-processing equipment. I established repeatable design and documentation workflows, formalized drawing and revision standards, and mentored engineers while managing multiple projects from prototype to production.I also invented and filed a patent for the WilevCup™ inline viscosity sensing and control system, integrating mechanical, pneumatic, and sensor-based control to enable adaptive mixing. The project combined hands-on engineering with strategic planning to position the company for scalable, innovation-driven growth-At Saturday Robotics, I joined as the 7th employee during the company’s first year, where I engineered large-scale robotic systems for autonomous laundry handling. Early projects focused on concept design and rapid prototyping to solve critical, unsolved company needs — building mechanisms from scratch in a fast-moving startup poised to disrupt a traditional service industry. That early work evolved into designing, validating, and deploying hardware for validation and production warehouses. I developed the folding-clamp and turntable system that became part of a patented autonomous laundry-folding device, taking it from concept through mechanical design, prototyping, and workflow validation to expand its capabilities for both flattening and folding garments.I was also a co-inventor on the washing and drying patent, where I invented and delivered the pneumatic, chain-driven mobile funnel subsystem — owning the full mechanical design from concept through integration into the system. These projects turned early ideas into manufacturable, repeatable products and shaped my approach to creative mechanical problem-solving in fast-moving startup environments-I also have nearly 15 years of experience as a business owner starting my own Belizean hardwood lacrosse shaft business, Tomahawk Lacrosse, from initial creation in high school to growth through college. By end of college, I optimized the business before starting my professional career to keep full focus on my professional work at each job since school. The company remains a creative outlet where I continue to improve and expand over the years while keeping operations simplified.

Newly acquired company with few historic employees – Poorly documented non-standard legacy products – Needed streamliningPatent Filings:(See Honors & Awards section)• U.S. Provisional Patent Application No. 63/810,70•••25) — Inventor of WilevCup™, inline viscosity sensing and flow regulation system for continuous batter mixing. Invented & launched WilevCup™, a patent-pending inline system that measures batter viscosity from flow rate & temperature at controlled fill height in a gravity-draining chamber – resolving industry-wide issues (sensor fouling, drift, operator variability) Built & led a hybrid engineering team: junior owned customer projects, industry-experienced remote grew R&D; set SOPs for contractor handoffs & outsourced low-risk CAD to flex capacity – parallel new builds, R&D prototyping & design standardization Standardized continuous mixer designs: converting one-offs into CIP-ready frames, reserve-tank skids & CAD/BOM packages Built SOP-driven BOM & release workflows: SolidWorks macros + Excel + PowerShell to generate revision-controlled vendor export packages & QuickBooks-ready sorted BOMs – standardized processes/formats, prevented errors, hours/days cut per release Scoped & proposed a PDM Pro upgrade: BOMs auto-update for early Ops action, ECN audit trail, QB-linked part costs for visibility & CAD cleanup via duplicate-detection scripts & standardized data cards – an ERP-lite layer to clean up, connect & scale
