   As a Program Manager, I lead our Affirmative Action (AA) and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) initiatives. Partnering closely with our legal team and external consultants and responsible for planning and overseeing the day-to-day activities pertaining to AA/EEO. This includes ensuring compliance with EEO laws, guidelines, and policies as well as policy and procedure development and implementation. In addition to managing Lyft’s compliance program, I also program manage our Equitable Development Initiative (EDI). Launched in 2020, EDI’s mission is to grow Lyft’s talent through equitable career development opportunities within our tech organization. Open to all team members, EDI focuses on ensuring equitable development for Target Group communities. Other responsibilities include: AA/EEO - Point of contact for AA/EEO - Work with internal and external partners on OFCCP audit and regulatory matters to ensure Lyft remains compliant with all applicable local, state, and federal laws - In partnership with internal and external partners, prepare written reports and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements - Develop, analyze and provide effective follow-up management of AA/EEO compliance requirements - Deliver education/support on understanding the AAPs to stakeholders (People Business Partners, Business Leaders, People Leaders, Talent Acquisition etc.) and their roles in meeting compliance requirements - Lead audit preparation for OFCCP compliance reviews - Ensure alignment between AAPs and Lyft’s I&D priorities EDI - Main point of contact for the EDI program - Evaluate program effectiveness by diving deep to understand EDI holistically - Provide counsel and coaching to managers and team members to ensure work program goals are being met - In partnership with L&D determine and develop EDI training offerings that can scale (sponsorship, mentorship, performance development)
