   One of six officers of the company, I work with the executive team and our parent company (foreign ownership) to boost financial performance, employee retention and operational effectiveness. I have broad responsibilities over HR, IT, EHS, corporate governance, business licenses and permits, contracts and agreements, business insurance placement and claims, benefits and payroll. NPSI operates five processing plants in remote areas of Alaska with a peak headcount of 1,200. There are inherent business challenges in an industry dependent on a wild resource using a seasonal, transient workforce! I provide strategic leadership to all departments, working closely with operational staff on HR and legal issues. Train and mentor executives, managers, and hourly employees in HR laws and policies. Key member of due diligence team, resulting in the acquisition and successful integration of two plants in Alaska.
