   Responsible for the university\'s institutional research and reporting functions, including decision support, collecting, maintaining, and analyzing information to assist institutional planning and decision-making. • Develop and maintain internal and external resources and analytical tools for campus stakeholders and provide insights to the broader Mercer community through research, reports, analytics, and special projects. • Provide oversight for campuswide decision support functions such as data analytics, research support, guidance on methods of analysis, statistical analysis, planning, and reporting. • Direct and conduct research pertaining to institutional effectiveness, program performance, institute policies, and strategic planning. • Aid stakeholders in various decision-making processes that require research and planning support from front-end analysis or problem identification through research design, methodology, instrumentation, data collection, analysis, reporting, planning, and implementation. • Work with campus stakeholders across various functional areas to implement continuous improvement processes at the institute, unit, and department levels. • Coordinate and support university efforts in satisfying external reporting requirements, including IPEDS, SACSCOC, the Common Data Set, and other submissions and responses to federal and state agencies included in the institution’s data collections schedule. • Manage institutional research staff and resources to respond to information and support requests to ensure timely, accurate deliverables.
