ABOUT RUCHIKA A.
Professional educational technologist leveraging a dynamic career in education to build an evidence-based instructional design practice in settings that value people, knowledge exchange, and continual learning for all. For 20 years, I have been intentionally helping people learn. Whether in formal or informal settings, I have pursued education projects - and a few experiments - that centre diverse learners and their development, context, and community. Collaborating with others - near and far - made all the difference. With graduate studies in educational technology (Canada) and sustainable development (UK), I aim to build capacity within organizations while communicating the benefits of learning to external audiences, like government, industry, and policy makers. Given wide-ranging experiences and studies, including literature, sociology & equity studies, and education, I believe I could thrive in a variety of organizations that may be seeking a multi-faceted learning designer with a broad outlook and, dare I say, an entrepreneurial spirit. My medium-term aim is to rapidly build on recent collaborative efforts, preferably within mission-oriented organizations.
