Working alongside children who have highly complex behavioural/emotional special needs.Running group interventions with the young people and assisting them in managing their thoughts and feelings. Assisting in their development of strategies in order to improve behaviour. Liaising with other senior members of staff and suggesting different behavioural management programmes for individual children. Creating lesson plans individually tailored for special needs. Taking groups specifically identified as falling behind, due to having such diverse and complex needs. Identifying individual strengths and creating new ways to ensure the curriculum is accessible in order to achieve. Daily general administrative tasks; printing,filing photocopying, using a variety of software in order to create lesson flip charts/power points/presentations.
