My Expert by Experience journey started when I joined a local CAMHS lived experience forum in 2013 as a volunteer. 3 years later in 2016, I became the first local employed CAMHS Mental Health Expert by Experience. From then on, I have held various roles within the mental health field representing a range of services from young people\'s to adults and have done work locally, nationally and internationally.
