Stepping into this role at St John is indeed a wonderful opportunity. St John, a charity that serves all New Zealanders, when we most need help, operates emergency ambulance services nationwide excluding the Wellington region. Less well known is the array of community programmes that St John delivers throughout the country, alongside local Area Committees. Leading fundraising strategy and implementation, the fundraising team are charged with a $40m+ annual revenue requirement. This supports both emergency ambulance services (not fully government funded) and community health programmes across NZ. With a team of 25 dedicated fundraisers, I can\'t wait to play my part in leading successful fundraising activities.
