Build the membership by identifying and engaging with 250 VCFSE organisations in membership and to promote community services such as funding advice, governance support, transport, payroll services, promoting their organisation and connecting with local businesses. Assist organisations with their development through the provision of advice and support services such as setting up their charity or promoting funding that we have to offer such as the Dacorum Shared Prosperity fund which was part of the governments levelling up scheme. Support the Head of Communities to deliver an agree programme of community and our 3 outreach events, consultations, conferences and meetings to increase the participation and influence of the voluntary/community sector. I was recently asked to present a workshop at the VCFSE conference on Managing Volunteers which included the 6-point promise which is a Hertfordshire wide initiative to promote and lead the volunteer management process.Support the Head of Communities to develop new initiatives that benefit VCFSE organisations in Dacorum and lead of project-based work as required such as cost-of-living events and the emergencies plan in collaboration with Dacorum Borough Council to work with community halls, churches and sports clubs in the event of an emergency.Maintain good working relationships with funders and meet all reporting requirements such as reporting on our work (plus stats) to Community Help Herts (CHH) which I am on the operational committee to work with other CVSs across Hertfordshire. To collate and report on data that demonstrates the impact of the community services for quarterly reports to Dacorum Borough Council and the Communities Committee which involves being accountable to our Trustees and funders.
