Leads incident investigations and completes incident reports- Develops proposals and bid work (Project Specific Safety Plans) for future Ledcor projects- Develops competency measures for Supervisors to use onsite for trades (i.e. Crane Operator, Pipefitters, Scaffolders etc.)- Participates in workplace and site safety inspections- Develops and maintains Ledcor safe work practices, job hazard assessments and safety programs- Provides service and HSE advice to site personnel, operations, joint venture partners and Clients- Conducts and reviews the results of perception surveys to analyze and improve the safety culture on site- Develops content and participates in safety meetings (Toolbox Talks, Safety Meetings)- Develops and presents Front Line Supervisor and Safety related training material and site specific safety orientations- Conducts field focus audits and participates in quarterly and annual safety audits (internal Gold Standard and external COR Audits)- Updates, analyzes and communicates safety statistics and trends- Mentors safety team members, craft, and onboarding subcontractors- Leading and managing safety teams of 4-6 personnel for daily safety operations on projects, including nightshift, craft safety personnel and nurse coverage- Participates and presents safety related material in meetings with Senior project management and the Client- Coordinates, sources and advises on specialized PPE selection for starting projects, such as fall protection equipment and respirators selection- Assists in the development, testing and execution of the emergency response protocols, drills and real time events- Reviews and approves safety specific procedures and documentation in construction work pacakges/detailed execution plans and works closely with superintendents and front line supervisors to help safely plan their work operations- Verifies compliance of project specific safety plan and procedures with regulatory requirements.
