Independent Social Work Consultant - LBSW Ltd. Specialising in Children\'s Safeguarding, Care Planning and Permanency. High quality independent Assessment and Care Planning for Local Authority, Private Law and Public Law Proceedings. Registered with Social Work England and BASW. Main areas of experience are in Care Planning & Permanence Team working towards achieving permanence for Children in Care. This includes completing Special Guardianship Assessment and reports, Parenting Assessments and Placement with Parent Regulation paperwork, Discharge Statements. I have also used the Valuing Care Tool to inform these pieces of work to explore the level of need for children and young people as well as identifying any support that may be required to achieve permanence. I also have a vast range of experience working within Duty & Assessment and Safeguarding Teams. Completing Single Assessments, identifying and managing risk. Holding cases across all levels - Child in Need, Child Protection, Pre-Proceedings and Care Proceedings. Producing high quality Assessments, Direct Work with Children and Court Reports.Additional training includes: Age Assessments, PAMs and Form F Assessments.
