About Leann Varghese
I am a junior pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Philosophy, driven by a commitment to justice and a deep interest in how data, policy, and law intersect to shape real-world outcomes. After taking a course at Pepperdine’s Caruso Law School on the legal landscape of human trafficking, I became especially passionate about combating this issue through both legal advocacy and data-informed solutions.With a working knowledge of R, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a background in economic analysis, I’m particularly interested in how statistics and policy research can support anti-trafficking initiatives. Inspired by my experiences in both advocacy and policy analysis, I plan to pursue law school to further equip myself to fight systemic injustices, specifically in areas like human trafficking and economic inequality.
