I’m a globally minded professional with roots in Ghana and Cuba, raised between Brooklyn and North London. I’ve lived in four countries and attended 13 schools, which taught me how to adapt quickly and connect with people from all walks of life. Though my parents are doctors, I was drawn to business and operations early on, inspired by my father’s leadership as Head of the Ghana Forestry Commission during our time in London.That experience sparked my interest in logistics, systems, and impactful leadership. I pride myself on being an excellent communicator, fast learner, and someone who thrives in dynamic environments. I’ve led large-scale operations, worked closely with city agencies, and built tools that improved service delivery across multiple programs. My ultimate goal is to grow in a career where I can create meaningful, lasting change through innovation, structure, and people-first problem solving.

   As part of the operations leadership team, I help oversee large-scale migrant shelters in New York City, with facilities serving up to 2,300 residents.My role combines compliance, logistics, and data-driven management to ensure safe, efficient, and dignified environments for guests.Manage multi-site teams across security, admin, and various vendor partners to keep daily operations running smoothly.Direct major transitions and shutdowns, coordinating with city agencies (FDNY, DHS, Mayor’s Office) and vendors to relocate hundreds of guests on tight deadlines.Develop dashboards and tracking systems (discharges, referrals, curfew, inspections) that give leadership real-time visibility into site performance.Helped create and implement standard operating procedures used at facilities citywide.Serve as the key link between on-the-ground staff, leadership, and city officials, ensuring full compliance and accountability.
