About Leandro Guevara

I’m a student at Georgetown University pursuing a double major in Government and Public Policy with a minor in law, justice, and society. My academic interests center around the intersections of political systems, economic development, and international cooperation.I’ve been actively involved in Model UN and Parliamentary Debate since middle school. I\'ve won awards across Latin America and I\'m now competing in the U.S. circuit, where I’ve reached outrounds at multiple national-level tournaments. I currently serve as an Under Secretary-General at NAIMUN one of the world’s largest student-led MUN conferences, helping shape educational experiences for thousands of high school students.Beyond academics, I’m committed to community-driven initiatives. I founded Sonrisas Navideñas, a project aimed at supporting children in vulnerable conditions in Lima through donations, meals, and direct outreach. I\'m currently volunteering for the Center of Social Justice in Geogetown as a student leader for ABP, a program focusing on community engagement and growth through local-based knowledge and the exchange of ideas. I’m passionate about leveraging debate, research, and leadership to address real-world challenges.
