About Leandra Stirling

I\'m originally from a small town in Pennsylvania and moved to Ithaca, New York for college. After graduating on Zoom in the middle of a pandemic, I decided to stay in Ithaca and get some closure that the Class of 2020 wasn\'t able to get.I worked in retail for over two years, quickly moving into a leadership role. I learned how to hire, train, and hold people accountable, while ensuring that my team felt encouraged and supported at all times. I found new ways to encourage my team, including but not limited to dumping water on their leadership team and a “gold star ceremony” to celebrate their successes each week. I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, hoping to work with sexual assault and domestic violence survivors. I intend to continue my education and work toward a PhD after completion of my Master’s program. Outside of work, I love exploring new places and binge watching Grey\'s Anatomy. I\'m a classical musician and I love animals! I have an orange cat named Toast and two Golden Retrievers named Asiago and Pistachio. I\'m always open to suggestions for more shows to binge watch and funny animal names (preferably food related), so feel free to connect with me and message me some ideas!
