As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, I work with pupils aged 2–16 in both one-to-one and small group settings, supporting their academic, social, and emotional development within the classroom. I have experience working with children and young people with Autism, ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs, physical disabilities, and those presenting with challenging behaviours.I am passionate about child and adolescent mental health, and this role has given me hands-on experience in supporting young people through challenges that impact their learning and development. These experiences are helping me build the foundation for my long-term goal of training as a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist.
