About Lea Marolt Sonnenschein
I am a product leader at Brilliant.org, a leading online platform for interactive STEM learning, with over 5 years of experience in product development, design, and consulting. I have a master\'s degree in innovation design engineering from Imperial College London and Royal College of Art, where I gained a unique combination of technical, creative, and strategic skills. My passion is to democratize access to quality education and empower learners to reach their full potential. I use empathy and analytics to understand user needs, pain points, and opportunities, and to design engaging and effective solutions. I have led and contributed to multiple projects at Brilliant.org, such as the rebranding of the website, the launch of the mobile app, the premium and business subscription services, and the novel interactive book-reading experience. I have also worked as a product consultant for various clients, helping them conceptualize, design, and produce web and mobile applications that delight users and achieve business goals. As a product leader, I value collaboration, communication, and feedback. I have delivered workshops, courses, keynotes, and talks at prestigious institutions and events, such as NYU, Girls Who Code, General Assembly, UIKonf, try! Swift, and #pragma, where I shared my insights and best practices on user experience, custom UI, and mobile development. I am always eager to learn new technologies, tools, and methodologies, and to apply them to my work. I am scrappy, persistent, and adaptable, and I strive for excellence, but also realize that done is better than perfect. I am on a mission to make the world a more fun, equitable, and enjoyable place for everyone.
