Working within the Tackling Violence and Exploitation Team, leading the After School Safety Partnership Project, which includes- Engaging and diverting children and young people who are thought to be at risk of perpetrating robberies- Identifying and diverting robbery perpetrators, offering a diverse programme of diversionary activities through case management and onward referrals- Delivering sessions employing a Resilience Based Approach, Solution Focused Brief Therapy or Motivational Interviewing based approach as well as being trauma-informed throughout- Focusing on joint prevention and intervention - Increasing community presence to offer deterrence and reassurance- Participating in monthly partnership Community Pop Up events- Educating young people on the consequences of offending behaviour- Ensuring victims of crime are sign posted for relevant support - Working with other services, including the Youth Justice Service, social care, Early Help Hubs, Community Safety Team and Safer Neighbourhoods
