I am a dedicated public health professional deeply attuned to the intricate relationship between health and society. Growing up in El Paso, Texas—a region shaped by systemic health disparities—instilled in me a profound commitment to addressing the social determinants of health and promoting equitable access to care.I hold an MPH in Epidemiology and an Advanced Certificate in Social Determinants of Health from Columbia University. My expertise lies in stakeholder management, leading multidisciplinary teams, and using data to identify healthcare disparities. I am driven by a passion for developing and implementing targeted interventions that ensure equitable access to care for all populations.As a Health Equity Program Manager at Beth Israel Lahey Health, I lead cross-functional teams in implementing health equity initiatives aligned with state-level policy goals, including the MassHealth waiver. By leveraging data and stakeholder collaboration, I’ve advanced organizational strategies to reduce healthcare disparities and improve access to care.Previously, at The Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, I contributed to groundbreaking COVID-19 research. My work ranged from genomic surveillance to characterizing the SARS-CoV-2 immunopeptidome, offering insights critical to vaccine design and public health responses.
