ABOUT LEAH L. WARD

A life-long learner here! My functional area of expertise are rooted in my long history working in housing and residence life, 13 years. Working in housing has made me a renaissance professional with experience in crisis management, supervision, budget management, collaboration efforts with internal and external stakeholders, mediation, conduct, and restorative justice practices. I am passionate about exploring secondary traumatic stress and completed my dissertation on the topic of workplace experiences from higher education/student affairs professionals who have stayed in the field even after experiencing secondary traumatic stress.
