Hi! This is part where you get to know me, what I do and what I love! I\'m Leah!(Lee-uh) I grew up in the central valley of California in the agricultural belt. Instead of going straight to college I opted to spend time figuring out what I wanted to do with my life. I always knew I wanted to help people but I wasn\'t sure in what capacity. Think of the end of the movie Mr. Holland\'s Opus with a room full of people who I\'ve helped in their life. My search took me to Walt Disney World and customer service there. I spent long hours working in shops and rides helping others make memories on their vacations. I learned a lot of valuable skills there and got to spend time spreading joy. I have a passion for continuous development and growth so my path took me to college at 23 years old. When most people were graduating at my age, I was just starting as a non-traditional student. College was a great opportunity to try different majors and I ultimately found myself on a path to Human Resources. Immediately after college I started recruiting and found so much joy in this career. I love matching candidates to the correct job and seeing their development in the position. Connecting with candidates about their experience and getting to deliver job offers is the best part of my job!
