Provide oversight and direction for all strategic marketing and communication efforts for the Recreation and Wellness Center. Develops, designs, conducts, and coordinates the RWC marketing effort, including participation in campus/community information fairs, ceremonial events, presentations for freshmen, parent orientations, transfer orientations, campus groups, and open houses. Works with all RWC areas in developing graphic design and coordinating of printing advertisements, brochures, flyers, and signage.Coordinates internal publications (RWC Guide, program cards, special events) and external publications including press releases for local, state, and national media.Assists in departmental wide special event programs (i.e. Rec Fest, 5K Race, Adventure Rae, Hiring Fair).Establish an aggressive revenue generation plan along with Assistant Director of Facilities in the areas of memberships and facility reservations that allow for minimal conflict with student usage.Solicit, secure, and manage details and responsibilities of RWC National and Local sponsorship programs.Supervise undergraduate student assistants that primarily assist with graphic design, working with various program areas and participation in campus/community events.Assist with customer service initiatives, including surveys, assessments, and analysis. Negotiate prices and purchasing of promotional products. Prepares, oversees, and maintains annual marketing budget.Serve as instructor for Risk Management in areas of responsibilities (First Aid, CPR, AED). Functions as the RWC representative and liaison within the UCF Marketing Department, developing marketing programs and promotions. Serve on UCF, SDES, NIRSA and RWC committees as requested. In accordance with audit procedures, serve as back-up for the department daily deposit. Plan, and execute social media marketing plan and manage content on appropriate platforms.
