Experience
Senior Quantitative Ux Researcher
Apr 2022 — Present
Microsoft digital employee experience product data science and UX research. Owned the Viva modules quantitative UXR and listening surveys. Working on bringing data science best practices into the org, starting with obtaining a GitHub repo, and writing reusable code to automate much of the analysis that goes into reports, and packaging it as functions for others to easily use as well. I built a dashboard in R Shiny so that my non-coding researcher teammates can analyze and visualize their survey data on their own. It is important to me to empower my coworkers to do quantitative research as well, and to prevent myself from being an analysis bottleneck. It also automatically produces the alt text for any plot it makes, to help increase the accessibility of rep ports containing visualizations. I researched the professional avatars space as the lead quantitative researcher for avatar and virtual meetings’ accessibility. Delivered insights to the products team highlighting areas that are successful, as well as those that users with disabilities identified as improvement opportunities. Currently, I am helping define UX landscape in AI products, and championing for responsible AI in existing and upcoming products.
