ABOUT LEAH BRODIE

A dynamic leader with nearly 15 years of experience in the non-profit sector and demonstrated success in strategic fundraising. I build and lead high-performing teams who are focused on achieving our goals. My passion for this work is rooted in my belief in the power of non-profits and philanthropy to change lives. I was previously with the College of Arts and Science at the University of Saskatchewan where I lead all aspects of the college\'s advancement strategy working closely with the Dean, senior leadership, and faculty members spanning the humanities, sciences, social sciences, and fine arts. In securing resources on behalf of the College of Arts and Science I helped donors reach their philanthropic goals while advancing the mission, vision, and impact of the college and the university. Prior to this I spent eight years at the MacKenzie Art Gallery (Regina) where I oversaw the development and communications portfolios for Saskatchewan\'s oldest public art gallery. My DiSC style is \"iD\" and I have shading that stretches into \"C\". My DiSC profile will tell you that my priorities that shape my experience within the workplace are: taking action, generating enthusiasm, getting results, and ensuring accuracy (I’d say “high quality”). I could not agree more! I hold a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah in beautiful Salt Lake City. At “The U” I was a record-holder on the Women\'s Swimming & Diving Team. I\'m a lover of the outdoors, open water swimming, a great podcast, and a strong cup of coffee!
