ABOUT LEAH DILLON
I consider myself both a lifetime learner and peer leader. My most significant accomplishment was earning the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America program. This required leadership, organizational skills, and persistence in addition to 54 nights sleeping under the stars, 29 merit badges, 159 hiking miles, and 1 mile swim. Through much of my high school career, I practiced martial arts which included service roles at the front desk and teaching younger students and adults alike. My creativity is on display when playing the bassoon or singing and I was able to exercise compassion and customer service by volunteering for the American Red Cross and a position at Alamo Pet Care Hospital. After completing a year-long study abroad at the Dublin Business School in Dublin, Ireland, I will be returning to New York for the balance of my Marist education this fall. I am pursuing a double major in International Business and Political Economy & Development, along with a minor in music. I look forward to trying new experiences both personally and professionally prior to my anticipated graduation in 2028.
