About Leah Transue
I am a fourth-year student at University of Nevada, Reno studying Public Health on the pre-nursing track. I have developed strong interpersonal and leadership skills through my work experience, sorority involvement, and competitive soccer background.Through my coursework and volunteering at Renown Regional Medical Center, I’ve become increasingly interested in the role nurses play in caring for patients and supporting families during difficult moments. I hope to pursue a career in nursing where I can make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives.I am especially interested in pediatrics or women’s health and value kindness, reliability, and creating environments where people feel comfortable and cared for.
