Serves as subject matter expert on Union contracts (AMFA, IBT, IAM, TWU all areas of Union contractual issues and correspondence system-wide for both contract and non-contract Employees •Serves as advocate for SWA with Unions on all grievances filed by Employees •Receives, researches and responds to grievances •Serves as an advocate for SWA in System Board of Adjustments, including preparation and presentation •Prepares and distributes settlements and/or revisions to CBA and union contracts from System Board •Participates in Employee development, working closely with the Training department •Performs special projects as needed by the (Sr) Director of Labor Relations •Works with several different departments, e.g, Employee Relations, General Counsel, Payroll, Training, People Department to resolve Employee issues •Act as a resource for all department Leadership with disciplinary issues, Company policies, and Employee development •Acts as an advisor to Leaders to help meet deadlines or resolve complex problems •Seeks out facts and constructively challenges the status quo •Champions excellent relationships with all Union Leaders •May perform other job duties as directed by Employee\'s Leaders
