About Leah Sell

Experienced Pittsburgh employment attorney providing counseling, advice, and training to human resources professionals, managers, and owners on a variety of employment matters to improve and protect the workplace. From hiring through separation and purchase through sale, Leah works with her clients to develop and protect their most important assets, employees. Currently serving in an in house role, Leah regularly collaborates with the Firm’s senior leadership regarding legal and regulatory aspects of the Firm’s HR functions. She also manages the Firm’s HR Team, which focuses on building a safe and inclusive working environment. Prior to her in-house role, Leah regularly advised Firm clients in the areas of employment counseling, defense, and alternative dispute resolution. She has vast experience finding solutions to complex employment law matters. Leah also managed employment aspects of corporate transactions such as due diligence, WARN issues, and successor liability. She negotiated and drafted relevant terms of purchase and other multi-faceted agreements, including those regarding employment, executives, restrictive covenants, confidentiality, severance, separation, and waivers and releases. Frequently, Leah develops and presents customized trainings for employers, managers, and employees on a variety of employment law topics including risk management and prevention, multi-state and remote workplaces, and best employment practices.
