As President and CEO of the National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF), I have the privilege of leading an incredible team dedicated to improving the lives of the more than 8 million Americans living with psoriatic disease. With a background in law and more than 25 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, health policy, and advocacy, I’ve spent my career working to break down barriers to care and ensure that patients\' voices are heard at every level—whether that’s in the doctor’s office, the halls of Congress, or the boardroom.At NPF, our mission is personal. We fight for access to treatment, invest in groundbreaking research, and support individuals and families affected by psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Through bold advocacy efforts, strategic partnerships, and a commitment to advancing the health of everyone living with psoriatic disease, we’re reaching more than 4 million people each year and making real progress toward a future free from the burdens of psoriatic disease.I’m especially proud of the work we’re doing to reimagine how patient organizations lead—from partnering with insurers to change coverage policies, to launching campaigns that connect with people who are untreated or undertreated.
