About Leah Kosovsky
I am a fourth-year graduate student in the Zhukhovitskiy Group at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, specializing in polymer chemistry. My research leverages supramolecular chemistry to template topological crosslinks in hydrogel materials for cell culture applications.I graduated from Connecticut College with a focus on biochemistry, cellular and molecular biology, and environmental studies. My passion lies in advancing health and sustainability at a chemical level. As a Goodwin-Niering Center for the Environment Scholar and a NOAA Hollings Scholar, I researched microplastic polymer composition, producing an honors thesis on the subject.
