The Tarbell Center is a non-profit supporting journalism to help society navigate the emergence of increasingly advanced AI. We run a fellowship for early-career reporters, support in-depth reporting with grants and host a residency program for experienced journalists. Our 2025 fellows are working at Bloomberg, the Guardian, MIT Tech Review, the Bureau of Investigative Journalism, the Verge, Platformer, Lawfare, NBC, the Dispatch, Understanding AI, Time magazine, the LA Times, the South China Morning Post and China Talk.
