ABOUT LEAH HAMENDE
I am currently an undergraduate sophomore at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, majoring in Sociology, and minoring in Political Science, Legal Studies, and Criminology, on the Pre-Law track. I have a passion for understanding law, society, and policy and hope to apply this to a legal career. My educational experience has equipped me with critical thinking, communication, and analysis skills, as well as an understanding of the importance of diverse viewpoints within legal and social contexts.Within my coursework I have explored a variety of topics ranging from criminal justice to constitutional law, strengthening my abilities to analyze complex social and legal issues. I am still exploring the specific career path I want to pursue, but I am eager to explore internships, and further studies that will guide me on a meaningful path in a legal profession.
