About Leah Fleischmann-Allina

Leah Allina, the daughter of a New York City cab driver, began her fascination with the film industry hearing her father’s stories of some of the famous fares he picked up as a driver in the late 50’s-70’s: including Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, Lauren Bacall and James Garner, Jack Benny and Jackie Gleason, to name a few. She can tell you who the good tippers were. Leah, parlayed this interest into attending NYU film school and upon graduation hit the streets of NY figuring how to get a foot in the entertainment industry. She started in the indy film world by doing anything and everything she could, and ultimately started moving back and forth between the film industry and the TV commercial world. Leah eventually moved to Los Angeles where she continued to go back and forth between films and commercials, and was fortunate enough to work with some notable actors and musicians including: Renee Zelleweger, Ewan MacGregor, Rachel Weisz, Julia Louis Dreyfuss, Jon Voight, Armand Assante, Christopher Guest, John Maher, Slash, Jane Lynch, Jason Schwartzman and Melissa McCarthy. After starting her family Leah decided to primarily focus on her commercial career so that she could stay closer to home but found a niche in producing for feature film directors when they directed commercials. Some film directors Leah has produced commercials for include: Wes Anderson, Todd Phillips, Todd Field, Christopher Guest, John Madden, Stephen Gaghan, and Peyton Reed. In the Commercial and Branded Content world Leah has partnered with agencies and clients alike to not only produce but help develop campaigns for a multitude of brands. Including: Apple, Coke, Gatorade, Burger King, Toyota, Verizon, Wendy’s, Visa, Dell to name a few. ​ Leah has been partnering with director Henry Alex Rubin at Smuggler to producer the award winning Sandy Hook Promise “Evan” spot and the Emmy Nominated Gatorade “Dear Peyton” spot. ​
