The CIPD Trust harnesses the brilliance of the People Profession to support those facing barriers in getting into work and getting on in work. People Professionals have enviable skills which can be game-changing in creating more inclusive workplaces. Whether they engage with us by providing pro bono mentoring support, insight and guidance, sharing best practice or opening the door to their own network - they\'re breaking down barriers to work every single day!I developed and lead the Aspiring HRD Mentoring Programme and Future People Leaders\' programmes which act as a lever to drive greater diversity at the senior levels of the profession, with a particular focus on supporting under-represented groups to create a more representative profession. I chair panels and discussions to highlight new and diverse voices and encourage more involvement from our wider employer network to support more people overcome barriers to employment.

I like making connections and convening conversations! An experienced business development leader, I\'ve worked in all sectors and am good at striking up long term partnerships. I have focused on developing leadership and reciprocal mentoring programmes, with a focus on supporting greater representation. Much of my time is spent with our senior leaders\' network creating opportunities for them to use their skills and expertise to drive systemic change where it\'s needed. Whether that\'s in supporting people with convictions back into the workplace through board representation, driving a more diverse People Profession or tackling barriers to truly inclusive workplaces. Always curious, I love chairing discussions, panels, debates and asking the difficult questions! Previously a trustee in my spare time, passionate about the power of diverse representation in society.
