About Leah Bauer
My profession as a designer means I help bridge the connection between architectural volume and the human experience. I have led design teams focused on corporate workplace strategy, research environments, healthcare design, retail, hospitality, and residential projects. I have spent most of my career working in the US, but I’ve also lived and worked in the Middle East, South Korea, and Asia. The experience of living and working abroad has elevated my consciousness and understanding of the impact of design on our daily lives. It also influenced by leadership and communication style to be more diverse and inclusive. My strength is working with interdisciplinary teams, always looking for improvements, efficiencies, and innovative ideas. I model inclusion and integration to include interiors and architecture as a cohesive unit rather than separate entities.(Give an example of a project/work) This profession has afforded me a career that I love, an opportunity for life-long learning, and amazing personal growth.
