About Leah Knight
I am a graduate of the University of Florida with a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. I currently practice in the adult inpatient rehabilitation setting working with patients who are undergoing cancer treatment or have sustained brain injuries, orthopedic injuries, multi-traumas, and amputations. My professional areas of interest include oncology rehabilitation - specifically neuro-oncology - in addition to neurological rehabilitation, advocacy, and program development/evaluation.Outside of work I serve as a board member for the Climb for Cancer Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides patient-centered support for individuals fighting cancer.I have a strong interest in research and have worked on research projects with the YELL Lab at UF, collecting data for an NIH-funded project evaluating the Vocational Fit Assessment (VFA).
