About Lea Ann Dick

With over 20 years of experience in diabetes care and education, I am passionate about empowering patients and families to self-manage their chronic conditions and achieve their health goals. As the Administrative Director of Endocrinology and Diabetes at Kettering Health, I lead a multidisciplinary team of endocrinologists, advanced practice providers, dietitians, RN diabetes educators, and medical office staff who deliver high-quality, patient-centered, and compassionate care. I align with the organization\'s mission and culture of improving the quality of life of the people in our communities, and I bring diverse perspectives and experiences from my previous roles in different healthcare settings. In my current role, I oversee the operations management of the endocrinology service line, and the leadership of the American Diabetes Association recognized outpatient diabetes care program. I leverage my skills in patient education, quality improvement, and healthcare management to support the staff of certified diabetes care and education specialists (CDCES), dietitians, and nurses who provide evidence-based and personalized diabetes education and coaching. I also facilitate the adoption of innovative and effective practices, such as telehealth group diabetes classes, cgm data to EHR, clinic to clinic telehealth visits and other improvements in care delivery workflows.
