Part of my placement was doing CEMA (Cyber Electro Magnetic Activities) research, that aimed to increase Thales understanding of Software Defined Radio when used with tools such as GNU Radio and other third party frameworks. Another part of my placement was working on the AWE (Army Warfighting Experiment), where I supported customer engagements and demonstrations with practical design tasks and by staffing the delivery of demonstrations in person.
