Designed electrical hardware and firmware for the construction of a 6 degrees of freedom prototype robotic arm including a closed loop control system, enhancing the arm’s precision and functionality• Utilized Altium Designer, LTspice, and breadboarding to design and test a PCB, optimizing circuit performance• Researched and selected electrical components such as stepper motors, drivers, and the ESP32 microcontroller, based on design specifications for high performance within the robotic arm• Collaborated in an 8 member sub-team of mechanical and electrical engineering students to ensure robotic arm achieved competition objectives through weekly team meetings
