I\'ve worked on RPC, routing, programming languages, compilers, sanitizers, static analysis, build systems, devtools, and core abstractions. I spend a lot of time these days worrying about reliability, safety, and efficiency across FB infrastructure. I\'ve worked on the C++ standards committee. I\'ve fought spam. I\'ve used Haskell in production.

Hyperscaled distributed caching of things, or, more famously difficult, invalidating of cached things. • Service Infrastructure. Core service building blocks + endpoint platform. • Performance foundations. Performance tooling, regression management & python runtime. • Async / durable execution (temporal). Orchestrating async flows. Valuable for AI-related tasks.• Files infra. Storage for all uploaded or generated files. • Strongly consistent metadata storage (foundationdb). A critical building block for many other distributed systems. • Rockset. Vector / search style database.
