ABOUT LAWRENCE BORGENS

Mr. Borgens is a business owner, entrepreneur & adventurer. Having started the private security, investigative and training firm Delta Protective Services in 1993 and building it up to an award winning business of over 100 employees; Getting his California State Private Investigators’ License and founding Training Resource Group, a California certified firearms & security training facility, he has based these business in Stockton California. Mr. Borgens first become involved in security and protective training while enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he served two tours overseas. After receiving an honorable discharge, he began working as a private investigator in Northern California specializing in locating people and locating assets.While employed as a private investigator, he attended the Executive Security International Advanced Executive Protection course in Aspen, Colorado and graduated at the top of his class. Upon receiving a job offer from Gavin de Becker, the nation\'s premier public figure protection agency, he moved to Los Angeles and provided protective services for celebrities, public figures, entertainers and executives.Since founding Delta Protective Services in 1993 his business has continued to thrive as a professional regional security & investigative firm recognized by the business community. In 1996, Mr. Borgens was awarded the Small Business Person of the year award by the Chamber of Commerce and in 2006 received the Small Business Person of the year award from the Sacramento District Office of the United State Small Business Administration. Mr. Borgens remains committed to community involvement and is active in various local and national charitiable organizations, non-profits & boards.
