Responsible for managing employee relations, professional development programs, recruiting, leadership, counseling, and compliance. Partner with Executive Committee and Partners to deliver solutions to employee relations issues aligned with the goals of the organization. Create workflows in the Human Resources Department in order to serve 190+ employees at nine office locations. Travel to the Firm’s various locations to interview and hire new employees and conduct new manager assimilation meetings. Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate activities, services, and functions of the department. Oversee recruitment, compliance, employment, and payroll. Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to the HR team. Manage and provide training regarding annual performance evaluations. Create and maintain job descriptions to include bench marking analysis and salary bands. Establish and maintain effective relationships throughout the company. Manage insurance and benefit programs, including health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, and 401k plans. Oversee and monitor COBRA, FMLA, PFL, and CFRA. Work closely with Director of Finance to prepare and monitor annual budget for the Human Resources Department. Encourage teamwork, recognition, respect, and increased employee morale. Maintain high ethical standards and strict confidentiality.
